Cyprus 2018: Eleni Foureira presents ‘Fuego’

Earlier in the national final season, we learnt that Cyprus had internally selected Eleni Foureira to represent the nation. She has been labelled the ‘Queen of Pop’ across Greece and Cyprus, so fans were expecting big things from her entry titled Fuego.

The song was written by Alex Papaconstantinou, Geraldo Sandell, Anderz Wrethov, Viktor Svensson and Didrick. We know Alex Papaconstantinou from previous Euroviison entries such as Always (Azerbaijan 2009), Yassou Maria (Greece 2007) and La La Love (Cyprus 2012). He has also worked with internationally renowned artists such as Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias.

For Eurovision, it will be up to internationally acclaimed artistic director Sacha Jean-Baptiste to create the stage performance. If it’s anything like the music video, which you can watch below, we can expect fireworks, high fashion and a whole lot of sex appeal.

Check it out below, and you can read more about Eleni here.
